Old School

I couldn't stand riding a mountain bike all winter, so I dug up the old white Cannondale circa 1987 ish if I remember correctly.

I kept tapping the brake levers and nothing happened. Maybe this is why.

Full friction, no index shifting. 50 good miles and a gorgeous day. Only got buzzed once by a Waste Management truck. We'll see how they respond.
Keep riding
Jeff

If you would like to Take my Crosshairs for a test drive let me know, or else its going into the depths of the basement for the winter. You should do Russell's Last Ride of '07 on New Years Eve. I will definetly be there, and I will see if either theo or Aris will come too.

I love old school shifters for my commute bikes whether MTB or road, especially for winter riding. Even if your derailleur gets mucked up, you can still shift easily. Anyone want to unload their old XT 7 speed MTB thumbshifters?
